What This Extension Does
Quiz Exporter for Gemini Notebook is a personal, unpublished Chrome extension built by Success Marcus-Agbasu for his own use and a few friends. It is loaded unpacked, is not distributed on the Chrome Web Store, and is not affiliated with Google. When you open a quiz in Gemini Notebook at notebook.google.com, the extension reads that quiz from the page you are already viewing and exports it to files on your computer (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, CSV for Google Sheets, Kahoot, Quizizz, Quizlet, or Anki) or, if you choose, creates a Google Form in your own Google Drive.
What Data It Accesses
The extension reads the content of the quiz on the Gemini Notebook page you have open. If you sign in with Google for the Google Forms export, it also receives your email address so it can show who is signed in, together with the access tokens Google issues for that sign-in.
Google Sign-In and Permissions
Google sign-in is optional and is used only for the Google Forms export. When you sign in, the extension requests the Google "drive.file" permission, which allows it to create and edit only the files it creates, plus your email address. Tokens are stored only in the extension's local storage on your computer. Signing out revokes the grant at Google and deletes the stored tokens.
Quiz Exporter for Gemini Notebook's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where Data Goes
Quiz content goes only to the files you download or to the Google Form created in your own Drive. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party, because the extension has no server of its own. Once a Google Form has been created, Google's handling of that form and its data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
What We Do Not Do
- No server receives your data.
- No analytics or telemetry is collected.
- No cookies are set.
- No advertising is shown or sold.
- No quiz content, email address, or token is shared with the developer or any third party.
Your Choices
You can sign out at any time from the extension, which revokes the Google grant and deletes the stored tokens from your computer. You can also remove the extension through Chrome's extensions page, which deletes its local storage along with it. Files you have already downloaded and any Google Forms already created in your Drive remain under your control and are unaffected by either action.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
